Current Promotions:

1. Promotions may be available on selected First Aid + CPR/AED courses. 

1. Promotions and discounts are single use only, and cannot be combined unless otherwise indicated.
2. Promotions and discounts are available with online credit card payment only, and must be applied at checkout. 
3. We reserve the right to make changes to the available promotions or the terms and conditions of any promotion, without notice.

Payment Policy:

1. Once a registration request is submitted, you are responsible for the full course fee.
2. There is no refund or credit if you do not show up to your course, or if you do not complete your course requirements.
3. Cancellation and a partial refund is available within two (2) business days after you submit your registration.  The refund amount will be equal to the Total Fees balance, minus a 5% payment transaction charge.  There is no exception to this charge.  Reply to your registration confirmation email to request cancellation. 
4. Rescheduling is available at no additional charge up to five (5) business days before your original Skills Practice Class date.  All other rescheduling requests are subject to approval and a $40 Rescheduled-Course Fee.  
5. Upon approval of a rescheduling request you may select a new Course Date that is within forty five (45) days of the original course date.  Approval and available Course Dates are at the sole discretion of Vital CPR.
6. Multiple rescheduling requests for the same registration are not allowed.

Absence Due to Illness:

1. Absence due to illness will be treated as a request to reschedule to a different date, and subject to approval and a Rescheduled-Course Fee as described in the Payment Policy.
2. As an additional precaution against transmission of colds, influenza, or other respiratory illness, you should NOT attend a class if you exhibit signs of such illness.  If you attend the class and exhibit signs of illness, you will be asked to leave the class and submit a request to reschedule when you have recovered.  Rescheduling requests are subject to approval and payment of a Rescheduled-Course Fee as described in the Payment Policy.
3. The CPR course requires physical exertion.  Individuals with existing medical conditions such as pregnancy, bone, muscle, and joint conditions, and respiratory conditions, should consult a doctor prior to attendance.  We do not assume any risk or liability for injuries or illness that may result from course participation.  Please talk to your doctor and stay safe.

Course Cancellation by Vital CPR:

1. Vital CPR reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule a course in the case of an emergency, or instructor illness.  In such an event, participants will be provided with rescheduling options.
2. Vital CPR will attempt to notify participants of any cancellations at least 48 hours prior to a course.
3. During winter months we will attempt to notify participants of any cancellations due to storm conditions, at least 24 hours prior to a course.  However, in extreme weather conditions, less than 24 hours notice may be provided.
4. Course cancellation notice will be communicated by email and / or a posting on our website.

Course Certification Requirements:

1. Canadian Red Cross certification is provided at the successful completion of the course.  
2. Participants are required to attend the entire class, and participation is mandatory.
3. Participants are evaluated based on their ability to perform the first aid and CPR skills during the course, in addition to a written multiple choice test.
4. The CPR course requires physical exertion. 

Privacy & Media Policy:

1. Participants may not record or take photos of course materials, presentations, or activities, without express consent from Vital CPR.  We reserve the right to request removal of any such recording from online websites.
2. Vital CPR may use photos of course participants taken in class in promotional material, not limited to our website, email communications, and other published media.  Vital CPR will not use any descriptions or markings that will personally identify you.  You may request your image removed from future published material by contacting us.
3. Vital CPR collects your name and contact info for the purpose of registration, scheduling, and communications related to your course.  From time to time, we may use this information to notify you of pending certification renewal requirements, and promotions related to products and services we offer.  You may opt out of promotional communications by contacting us.
